Man Arrested for Possessing Stolen Bitcoin Computers

Bryan Thola, a 26-year-old man from Canyon Country, was arrested by the LAPD for allegedly possessing over $500,000 worth of stolen bitcoin mining computers. These computers were found in Thola's cargo van and a public storage unit. Bitcoin mining computers are specialized devices used to create cryptocurrency. Thola was booked on a felony charge of receiving stolen property and released on his own recognizance.
