Bob Dylan's 1974 Live Recordings Set to Release

Bob Dylan is set to release 'The 1974 Live Recordings' on September 20, which will feature 431 tracks from his historic 1974 arena tour with The Band. The collection includes a new live rendition of 'Just Like Tom Thumb’s Blues,' recorded at Madison Square Garden on January 30, 1974, alongside 417 previously unreleased tracks. This box set, consisting of 27 CDs, celebrates the 50th anniversary of Dylan's return to touring after an eight-year hiatus, showcasing the evolution of his performances during the tour. The set also features newly mixed recordings and will be accompanied by a separate release titled 'The Missing Songs From Before the Flood,' highlighting additional songs not included in the original live album. Dylan's 1974 tour was a landmark event, as it marked the first time he and The Band performed in large arenas, setting new standards for rock concerts.
