Man Charged Murder After Canton Barbershop Fatal Shooting

Two separate shootings at barbershops in the U.S. have resulted in serious charges and at least one death. In Midland, Texas, Jason Jerome Williams was arrested and charged with aggravated assault and deadly conduct after a July 4 shooting at a barbershop during a holiday cookout, where he allegedly threatened a woman and discharged a firearm, putting children and patrons at risk. In Canton, Ohio, 19-year-old Braylon Foster was fatally shot at Klipz Barbershop on August 1; Deontae McCollum, 25, has been charged with murder and felonious assault and is being held on a $1 million bond. McCollum surrendered to police after initially fleeing the scene, with investigations ongoing and no clear motive yet disclosed. The Canton Police are seeking additional information from the public to assist with their investigation.
