John Mayall Dies at 90 in California

John Mayall, the influential British blues musician known as the 'Godfather of British Blues,' passed away peacefully at his California home on July 22, 2024, at the age of 90. Mayall's band, the Bluesbreakers, was a crucial training ground for legendary artists such as Eric Clapton, Peter Green, and Mick Fleetwood. Despite health issues forcing him to end his touring career, Mayall's contributions to the music world continued to be felt through his albums and the careers he helped launch.
