Man Killed During Carjacking at Norco Gas Station, Suspect Detained

A man was killed in Norco, California, on Monday afternoon after being dragged and ejected from his vehicle during a violent carjacking at a gas station on Hidden Valley Parkway. Witnesses reported that the suspect entered the driver’s seat while the owner was partially in the rear seat, then drove off with the victim still inside, resulting in the victim being dragged before being ejected. The victim was transported to a nearby hospital, where he later died from his injuries. Riverside County Sheriff’s deputies quickly located the stolen vehicle and detained a person believed to be responsible for the carjacking.
