Elmhurst Liquor Store Burglary Suspects Apprehended

Michael Harris and Antwan Ford are facing multiple charges in connection to a burglary at Corner Cottage Liquors in Elmhurst, Illinois, which led to a high-speed police chase. The suspects were apprehended after fleeing in a stolen Alfa Romeo, which struck a police car before being tracked with a GPS device to Oak Park. Harris and Ford are also suspected of committing a robbery in Des Plaines earlier that morning. They are charged with burglary, aggravated fleeing, and other related offenses, and are being held pretrial by order of a DuPage County judge. The investigation continues as police search for other suspects who fled in a Dodge Challenger. Both vehicles used in the crime were reported stolen from Chicago earlier in October.
