Capital One opens airport lounge at Las Vegas airport

Capital One is expanding its lounge network with the opening of a new location at Harry Reid International Airport (LAS) in Las Vegas, marking its fourth lounge alongside those in Dallas, Denver, and Washington. Positioned in Concourse D, this 8,200-square-foot lounge offers amenities like locally inspired food and beverages, wellness beverage options, and a signature gin-based cocktail. The lounge is designed as a desert oasis, featuring art installations and views of the tarmac and Las Vegas skyline. The expansion places Capital One in direct competition with American Express and Chase, as these companies vie for high-value cardholders by offering premium travel perks. The new lounge will operate from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m., accommodating up to 130 guests with a focus on regional flair and understated luxury. The opening also highlights a growing trend of major credit card companies enhancing their lounge offerings to attract and retain customers.
