Indian cricket star Suryakumar Yadav has been declared fit and will join the India B squad for the final round of the 2024-25 Duleep Trophy, replacing Sarfaraz Khan who is called up for India's Test series against Bangladesh. Yadav, who had been recovering from a thumb injury sustained during the Buchi Babu Invitational, was cleared by the National Cricket Academy (NCA). India B, led by Abhimanyu Easwaran, aims to clinch the title with Yadav's inclusion after a mixed campaign so far. Yadav's return is also timely for India's T20I series against Bangladesh starting on October 6.
