Ireland Wins Historic Test Against Zimbabwe

Ireland secured a historic four-wicket victory over Zimbabwe in the first Test match ever played in Northern Ireland, held at Stormont. Despite a dramatic top-order collapse to 33-5, a record 84-run partnership between Lorcan Tucker (56) and Andy McBrine (55 not out) steered Ireland to their target of 158. Zimbabwe's Richard Ngarava initially dominated with a sensational 4-12 spell, but Ireland's middle-order resilience turned the tide. McBrine, who also took a combined 7-75 across Zimbabwe's two innings, was named player of the match. This victory marks Ireland's first home Test win and follows their maiden Test win against Afghanistan earlier this year.
