Suffolk Officer Shot Serving Warrant; Suspect Surrenders

The suspect, described as a 44- or 48-year-old former co-worker of the 66-year-old murder victim and reportedly having prior conflicts with him, fired multiple rounds from inside his home before surrendering after a standoff. The victim was reportedly shot in the street and dragged into the woods, though the motive is still under investigation.
