Criterion Releases Deluxe 4K Wes Anderson Box Set

The Criterion Collection is releasing a deluxe 20-disc 4K Ultra HD and Blu-ray box set titled "The Wes Anderson Archive: Ten Films, Twenty-Five Years," featuring the first 10 films by director Wes Anderson. This collection includes newly remastered 4K digital masters with Dolby Vision HDR and 5.1 surround DTS-HD Master Audio soundtracks, and over 25 hours of special features such as audio commentaries, interviews, documentaries, deleted scenes, storyboards, and visual essays, all approved by Anderson himself. Each film is accompanied by a clothbound illustrated book containing essays by notable writers and filmmakers. The set includes Anderson's films from "Bottle Rocket" through "The French Dispatch," with "Isle of Dogs" and "The French Dispatch" being new to the Criterion Collection and also available individually. Anderson's latest film, "The Phoenician Scheme," premiered at Cannes and is set for U.S. release on May 30. The box set will be available for pre-order now and officially released on September 30.
