Lufthansa Expands Allegris Cabin to US Destinations

Lufthansa is enhancing its passenger experience with the introduction of its luxurious Allegris cabin on flights from Munich to additional U.S. destinations, including San Diego, Newark, and Charlotte, starting in 2025. This expansion nearly doubles the availability of the Allegris cabin, which offers upgraded first and business class experiences. Starting March 30, 2025, flights from Munich to San Diego and Chicago will feature Allegris, with New York-Newark added on April 15 and Charlotte following in August. The Allegris cabin, which has been operating on routes to Bengaluru since November 2024, has reported over 90% satisfaction rates in Business Class. Lufthansa operates nine Airbus A350-900s equipped with the Allegris product, with six featuring the exclusive First Class suites. Although Lufthansa plans to retrofit its Boeing 747-8s with the Allegris cabin, it has limited plans to upgrade the majority of its existing fleet.
