Fox plans subscription streaming service by 2025

Fox Corp has announced plans to launch a subscription-based streaming service by the end of 2025, marking its entry into the competitive streaming market dominated by companies like Netflix. CEO Lachlan Murdoch revealed that the service will include Fox's news and sports content, targeting audiences who have moved away from traditional cable. While specific launch details and pricing have yet to be confirmed, Murdoch emphasized that the service will be priced modestly and will not disrupt existing cable offerings. The move comes after Fox's previous attempt to collaborate on a joint sports streaming venture, Venu, with Disney and Warner Bros. Discovery, which was ultimately shelved.
