Horror Film Weapons Arrives Digital Sept, 4K UHD Blu-ray Oct

The horror thriller Weapons, directed and written by Zach Cregger, will be released for digital rental and sale on September 9, 2025, followed by physical releases on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD on October 14, 2025. The film stars Josh Brolin, Julia Garner, Alden Ehrenreich, Austin Abrams, Cary Christopher, Benedict Wong, and Amy Madigan, and follows a community grappling with the mysterious disappearance of all but one child from the same class on the same night. Weapons has earned over $239 million worldwide and holds a Certified Fresh rating of 94% on Rotten Tomatoes. The 4K UHD release will include Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos, along with special features such as three making-of featurettes that explore the director’s inspiration, the cast’s dynamics, and the film’s production design. The film is praised for its originality and unsettling atmosphere and continues to be available on digital platforms including Amazon Prime Video, AppleTV, and Fandango at Home.
