Livonia Man, 64, Killed by Gravel Hauler in Ann Arbor Accident
A 64-year-old man from Livonia was killed in Ann Arbor while working with his gravel hauler on Pauline Boulevard near Hutchins Avenue. According to police, the incident occurred around 4 p.m. as the man was reconnecting the front and rear trailers of his vehicle after delivering sand to a nearby construction site. He was struck and trapped under the trailer, and was pronounced dead at the scene by first responders. The accident led to the closure of Pauline Boulevard between Main and Seventh streets for about five hours while authorities investigated. Multiple agencies, including the Ann Arbor Police Department, Fire Department, Michigan State Police, and local ambulance services, responded to the incident. The investigation is ongoing.
