BBC Granite Harbour Films Third Series Across Scotland

Filming has begun on the third series of the BBC crime drama Granite Harbour, with production taking place in Aberdeen, Glasgow, and other locations across Scotland. The new three-part series reunites Romario Simpson and Hannah Donaldson as the detective duo Lindo and Bart, who investigate a suspicious death in a traveller community near Aberdeen, navigating a complex cross-community romance and uncovering a troubled past. Returning cast members include Dawn Steele and Michelle Jeram, while guest stars such as John Gordon Sinclair, Ellie Haddington, and Alastair Mackenzie join the cast. The series is produced by LA Productions for BBC Scotland, BBC One, and BBC iPlayer, with writing contributions from Rob Fraser, Ciara Conway, and Jillian Mannion. Executive producers Gavin Smith and Colin McKeown expressed excitement about returning to the innovative Aberdeen-set drama and praised the assembled cast. The third series will premiere on BBC Scotland before airing on BBC One and iPlayer in 2026.
