Gas Supply Restoration in Putra Heights Expected by July 1, 2025

Petronas Gas Berhad (PGB) has announced that the restoration of gas supply in Putra Heights, Subang Jaya, is projected to begin no earlier than July 1, 2025, pending ongoing investigations and necessary regulatory approvals. Following a pipeline fire incident on April 1, 2025, PGB is collaborating closely with authorities and gas distributors to resume services and has increased gas supply capacity to affected areas, including Bestari Jaya, Meru, and Kapar, utilizing additional supply from the Trans Thailand-Malaysia gas pipeline system. The company emphasized its commitment to the safety and well-being of the affected communities while undertaking remedial works such as soil stabilization and pipeline excavation. The Serdang City Gate gas station has resumed operations, improving supply stability in the Klang Valley area. PGB continues to cooperate with relevant authorities in the investigation to ensure the safe execution of necessary repairs and the resumption of gas services.
