Valencia Secures MotoGP Hosting Rights Through 2031

The Circuit Ricardo Tormo in Valencia has secured a new five-year deal to host the MotoGP Grand Prix until 2031, affirming its status as the season finale venue. This extension comes despite the circuit's cancellation of the 2024 race due to devastating floods that claimed over 200 lives and caused extensive damage to infrastructure. The Valencia GP, renowned for its vibrant atmosphere and fan engagement, has been recognized multiple times with the 'Best Grand Prix' award and is expected to continue this legacy. Carmelo Ezpeleta, CEO of Dorna Sports, emphasized the circuit's unique appeal and the strong local support for motorsport. Valencia's commitment to MotoGP is viewed as significant for the region's economic recovery following last year's disaster. The next scheduled Valencia GP will take place on November 16, 2025, marking a return to its traditional season-closing role.
