28-Year-Old Man Killed in Waterford Shooting

A 28-year-old man was fatally shot in the chest in the parking lot of the MJR Theater on Highland Road in Waterford Township, Michigan, around 11:30 p.m. on Thursday night. Despite being transported to a nearby hospital, the victim succumbed to his injuries. Police identified and arrested a 24-year-old suspect from West Bloomfield with the assistance of the West Bloomfield Police Department. Authorities have indicated that the shooting was targeted and not a random act. The suspect is being held in the Oakland County Jail as the investigation continues.
