Robinson's campaign has dismissed the lawsuit as 'baseless,' asserting that all previous invoices have been settled and claiming the disputed work was contracted without Robinson's approval by a now-removed consultant. Additionally, the lawsuit seeks a court order to freeze campaign funds, suggesting a concern that the campaign may mismanage its finances before Election Day. This legal issue follows a tumultuous period for Robinson's campaign, including staff resignations after a CNN report revealed controversial past comments made by him. Vox is pursuing over $25,000 in damages and has requested a jury trial alongside seeking a temporary restraining order to secure payment.
