Oceania Cruises to Launch Tampa Sailings in 2026

Oceania Cruises will launch its first ultra-premium sailings from Port Tampa Bay in March 2026 aboard the renovated Insignia, which accommodates 670 passengers. The itineraries will span seven to 20 nights, visiting Caribbean destinations such as St. Thomas, Cozumel, and Panama City, reflecting Tampa's cosmopolitan vibe and culinary scene. Frank Del Rio, president of Oceania, highlighted the city as a natural expansion for their brand, while the president of Port Tampa Bay noted the expected economic boost from increased tourism. Meanwhile, Carnival Cruise Line also announced its 2026/27 cruises from Tampa, celebrating three decades of operations in the area with various itineraries to the Bahamas and Caribbean. Both cruise lines aim to capitalize on Tampa's growing popularity as a cruise destination, offering diverse options for travelers.
