Cincinnati Reds unveil Marty Brennaman sculpture Sept 6
The Cincinnati Reds will unveil a bronze sculpture honoring Hall of Fame broadcaster Marty Brennaman outside Great American Ball Park on September 6. The sculpture, created by local artist Tom Tsuchiya, depicts Brennaman behind a radio microphone, symbolizing his 46 years as the voice of the Reds. Reds President and CEO Phil Castellini emphasized the tribute's significance, stating it reflects Brennaman's legacy and impact on the community. The statue will be strategically placed near the Reds front office building, facing Joe Nuxhall Way, to welcome fans. A dedication ceremony is scheduled before a game against the New York Mets, further celebrating Brennaman's contributions to Reds baseball. The Reds Hall of Fame is also launching a fundraising campaign to support the project.
