Jay Cutler Arrested After Traffic Collision in Tennessee

Former NFL quarterback Jay Cutler was arrested in Franklin, Tennessee, on charges of driving under the influence (DUI), possession of a handgun while under the influence, failure to exercise due care, and violation of the implied consent law. The arrest followed a minor traffic collision where Cutler allegedly rear-ended another vehicle and attempted to avoid police involvement by offering the other driver $2,000. Police observed signs of intoxication, such as slurred speech and bloodshot eyes, and detected a strong smell of alcohol. Cutler refused field sobriety tests, resulting in a blood sample taken via a warrant. He was booked into Williamson County Jail and later released on a $5,000 bond.
