Miles Teller Cast as WWII Hero Gino Bartali in Upcoming Biopic

Miles Teller has been cast to portray Gino Bartali in the upcoming biopic titled 'Bartali,' which focuses on the legendary Italian cyclist and World War II hero. Directed by the Oscar-winning duo E. Chai Vasarhelyi and Jimmy Chin, the film will highlight Bartali's remarkable achievements in cycling, including his victories in the Giro d'Italia and the Tour de France, as well as his courageous efforts during the war to aid Jews fleeing the Nazis. Bartali used his fame to transport forged documents and helped save several lives by hiding a Jewish family in his home. The film will be produced by Vasarhelyi and Chin's Little Monster Films, alongside other notable producers. Teller expressed his enthusiasm for portraying Bartali, emphasizing the cyclist's bravery and moral courage. Additionally, Teller has several other projects in the pipeline, including 'The Gorge' and a biopic about Michael Jackson.
