Bengaluru-based quick commerce startup Swish has successfully raised $2 million in its first funding round, led by Accel, to enhance its 10-minute food delivery service and expand operations across Bengaluru and into other Tier-I cities. Meanwhile, Theranautilus, a deep-tech firm specializing in nanorobotic solutions for healthcare, has garnered $1.2 million in seed funding from pi Ventures and other investors to commercialize its medical devices, initially targeting dental care applications. Theranautilus aims to address dental hypersensitivity, a condition affecting over 2 billion people globally, by using precision-manufactured nanorobots to deliver biocompatible materials that repair damaged tissues. This innovative approach promises a long-term solution compared to traditional treatments. With plans to establish an ISO-certified manufacturing facility, Theranautilus is set to revolutionize the dental healthcare market, projected to be worth $6 billion.
