Airlines Expand with New International and Domestic Routes

United Airlines is set to expand its network in 2025 with new international and domestic routes, including flights from Los Angeles to Beijing and Denver to Rome, enhancing connectivity for underserved markets. Additionally, American Airlines plans to increase its presence in Canada by adding new routes from New York LaGuardia and other cities, alongside a new year-round service from Pittsburgh to Los Angeles starting April 4. United has also launched its first nonstop service from Palm Springs to Washington, D.C., operating daily through April 30, 2025, to boost tourism and economic growth in the Coachella Valley. The new routes signify a strategic move by both airlines to cater to rising travel demands and expand their reach to new destinations.
