Basel to Host Eurovision Song Contest 2025

Basel, Switzerland, has been selected to host the Eurovision Song Contest 2025 from May 13 to 17, following Swiss singer Nemo's victory in 2024 with their song 'The Code'. This marks the first time the German-speaking part of Switzerland will host the event, with the St. Jakobshalle arena chosen for its suitability and infrastructure. Basel was selected over other cities like Geneva, Zurich, and Bern after a competitive bidding process.
