North West 200 2026 Scheduled May 4-9 Northern Ireland Road Race

The 2026 Briggs Equipment North West 200, a major motorcycle road racing event and the unofficial warm-up for the Isle of Man TT, is scheduled from May 4 to May 9. Practice and qualifying sessions will occur on May 6 and 7 with road closures from 9am to 3pm, followed by evening races for Superstock, Superbike, and Supersport classes on May 7. The main six-race program on May 9 will feature two Superbike races, two Supertwin events, and Supersport and Superstock contests, with roads closed from 9am to 7pm. The event continues to attract top riders like Michael Dunlop, who achieved a hat-trick of wins in 2025, and Davey Todd, who also secured multiple victories. Coverage details are yet to be announced but BBC Northern Ireland is expected to broadcast the races live. The North West 200 remains one of Northern Ireland's biggest outdoor sporting events, drawing large crowds and the leading names in motorcycle racing.
