Masked Gang Terrorizes Cambridgeshire Villages in Rampage

A group of approximately 30 balaclava-clad individuals engaged in hare coursing has terrorized several villages in Fenland, Cambridgeshire, leaving local residents in fear and frustration due to insufficient police response. The gang rampaged through fields, damaging crops and properties, and even disrupted a firefighting training exercise, damaging two fire engines. They also stole over £200 worth of goods from a petrol station and intimidated fire crews. A public meeting was convened by Tory MP Steve Barclay, attended by about 300 residents, to address the chaos and perceived police inaction. Farmers like Robert Sears and Matthew Latter shared harrowing accounts of the ordeal, with Latter barricading his family inside their home during the group's mayhem. Cambridgeshire Police have described the incident as 'unprecedented' and are currently searching for the culprits.
