Coco Gauff has advanced to the third round of the 2025 Australian Open after defeating British player Jodie Burrage 6-3, 7-5, despite a challenging second set. Gauff, who is unbeaten this year, managed to recover from a service game wobble as Burrage, serving for the second set at 5-3, double-faulted, allowing Gauff to regain control. Gauff will next face Canadian Leylah Fernandez for a place in the last 16.
