Hades 2 Launches September 25 on PC, Nintendo Switch

Supergiant Games has announced that Hades 2 will officially launch its 1.0 version on September 25, 2025, marking the end of its early access period since May 2024. The game will be available simultaneously on Steam, Epic Games Store, and as a timed console exclusive on Nintendo Switch and Switch 2, with enhanced performance on Switch 2 such as 1080p resolution at 120fps in docked mode. Fans can expect new gameplay elements including multiple weapons, biomes, characters, Boons, and hidden secrets, as players control Melinoe in her quest against Chronos. A physical edition of Hades 2 is scheduled for release on November 20, 2025. While currently a Switch timed exclusive, a broader console release on platforms like PlayStation and Xbox is anticipated in the future. The sequel is Supergiant's first and largest game yet, building upon the success and acclaim of the original Hades roguelike.
