Fujitsu Expands Palantir AI Licensing for Japan, Plans Global Growth

Fujitsu has signed a new licensing agreement with Palantir Technologies Japan to provide the Palantir Artificial Intelligence Platform (Palantir AIP) to its customers in Japan, with plans for global expansion during fiscal 2025. This platform enables the integration of generative AI into business operations, allowing rapid development and deployment of AI-driven solutions for data analysis, decision-making, and workflow automation. Fujitsu will combine Palantir AIP with its Fujitsu Uvance business model, which focuses on solving societal issues and driving business transformation worldwide. The partnership, which began in 2020, also includes rights for Fujitsu to market and distribute Palantir Foundry, a platform for managing large-scale data integration. Palantir AIP, when used alongside Foundry, supports the deployment of AI with preferred large language models within corporate networks and is already adopted in sensitive sectors like finance and defense. This expanded collaboration aims to accelerate generative AI adoption and optimize operations in areas such as supply chains and engineering.
