DAWN Fellowship 2025 Supports Young Women Feminists from Global South

The DAWN Fellowship has been launched to support young women feminists from the Global South in addressing gender-based violence and conflict through innovative projects. This fellowship, part of DAWN's 40th anniversary, offers a monthly stipend of $1,200 for ten months, alongside mentorship and networking opportunities. Applicants must be under 40, demonstrate a commitment to women's rights, and propose projects that align with the fellowship's theme, with a focus on areas like Palestine. In addition, the Clooney Foundation has announced its 2025 Waging Justice for Women Fellowship, providing funding and mentorship to ten early-career African women lawyers working on women's rights issues. This initiative aims to empower advocates through strategic litigation and community engagement. Both programs highlight the critical need for support and resources dedicated to advancing gender justice globally.
