According to an FBI complaint filed in January, Morant's home was burglarized on December 19, 2024, with thieves stealing approximately $1 million in jewelry, watches, and luxury bags. The complaint does not publicly name Morant but refers to him as 'Professional Athlete 6.' The Grizzlies have declined to comment on the matter ahead of their game against the Indiana Pacers. Other athletes affected by similar burglaries include NFL players Patrick Mahomes and Joe Burrow. Some suspects were arrested in January during a traffic stop in Ohio, where it was discovered that some were in the country illegally.
