Eden Prairie Teacher Investigated for Giving Children Gummies Before Nap Time

Eden Prairie police are investigating allegations that a preschool teacher at Jardin Spanish Immersion Academy gave children sleep-inducing gummies before nap time. Parents reported that their children felt unusually sleepy and were instructed by the teacher not to disclose the gummy consumption. Surveillance video reportedly shows the teacher taking something from her pocket and handing it to a child, who then ingested it. The teacher claimed the gummies were actually fruit snacks and not melatonin, but the daycare has placed her on administrative leave pending the investigation.
