Jack Miller expressed his relief after surviving a serious crash during the opening lap of the Malaysian MotoGP at Sepang, where his helmet struck the rear tyre of Fabio Quartararo's bike, and he was subsequently run over by Joan Mir's Honda. Despite initially remaining motionless on the track, Miller was later cleared of serious injuries, suffering only a bruised leg. The incident involved Miller, his teammate Brad Binder, and Quartararo, prompting a red flag during the race. While Binder and Quartararo were able to continue, Miller thanked fans for their support on Instagram, stating he felt lucky to walk away unharmed. Ducati's Francesco Bagnaia won the race, tightening the championship race as Jorge Martin's lead is now down to 24 points ahead of the season finale.
