Burnley Complete €14m Signing of Lazio Forward Loum Tchaouna
Burnley has secured the signing of France U21 winger Loum Tchaouna from Lazio for an undisclosed fee reportedly around €14-15 million plus add-ons, with the player signing a five-year contract until 2029. Tchaouna, 21, who can play predominantly as a right winger but also across the forward line, has amassed over 130 senior appearances across Serie A, Ligue 1, and Ligue 2, including 37 appearances for Lazio last season. He impressed during his time at Salernitana with six goals in 35 Serie A games before moving to Lazio in 2024 and has also featured for France in the Under-21 European Championship. Burnley’s manager Scott Parker spoke with Tchaouna during the Euros, which helped convince the winger to join the club as they prepare for their return to the Premier League. Tchaouna will compete for a starting place alongside players like Jaidon Anthony, Marcus Edwards, and Luca Koleosho, becoming the Clarets' fourth signing after Max Weiss, Quilindschy Hartman, and Axel Tuanzebe. The transfer marks a significant investment for Burnley as they strengthen their squad for the top flight campaign.
