Police Departments Launch Thanksgiving Food Drives

Several community initiatives are underway to support families in need this holiday season. In Las Vegas, the Metropolitan Police Foundation is delivering holiday groceries to families in high-call service areas to strengthen community trust. The Berkeley Police Association's turkey basket fundraiser has raised over $6,000, aiming for $10,000 to provide Thanksgiving meals to underserved families. Hillsborough, New Jersey, will host a 'stuff the bus' food drive on November 23 at ShopRite, while the Rio Rancho Police Department is also organizing a food drive on Saturday to assist local families. These efforts reflect a community-wide commitment to ensuring everyone has access to meals during the holiday season.
