Officer Injured in Pursuit Crash; Suspects Sought

A DeKalb County police officer was hospitalized with moderate injuries after crashing into a dump truck during a pursuit of suspects in a stolen vehicle early Wednesday morning near Glenwood Avenue and Terry Mill Road. Witnesses reported several police cars involved in the chase before the officer lost control in a construction zone and collided with the truck. The suspects escaped in a white 2016 Nissan Maxima with Florida license plate DVN3211, which had been reported stolen in Rockdale County and is linked to multiple armed robberies. Police have released a photo of the vehicle and are urging the public to provide information via Tip411 or Crime Stoppers. No other injuries were reported, and the officer is expected to recover.
