Snell, Dodgers Dominate Blue Jays in 9-1 Win
Blake Snell pitched five scoreless innings and struck out 10 in his second start back from a four-month injury, leading the Los Angeles Dodgers to a 9-1 win over the Toronto Blue Jays. This was Snell's first double-digit strikeout game as a Dodger and marks a key return to form after earlier shoulder issues. Manager Dave Roberts highlighted the importance of Snell's contributions as the Dodgers look to stabilize their rotation ahead of the postseason. The Dodgers' offense was led by home runs from Max Muncy and Shohei Ohtani, with a decisive six-run sixth inning. Snell has now tallied 18 strikeouts in 10 innings since his return, giving a boost to a now-healthy Dodgers pitching staff. The Dodgers have won two straight games against the Blue Jays, who continue to lead the AL East.
