Additionally, the U.S. government warns that countries like North Korea, Syria, and Haiti pose significant travel risks due to political instability and crime. Virunga National Park in Congo and Darien National Park in Panama are noted for their dangerous wildlife and human threats, while locations like Mount Huashan and the Danakil Desert present extreme hiking challenges. These findings underline the importance of caution when traveling to both popular and remote destinations worldwide.
