Multiple Rodeos, Festivals Begin Across U.S. Communities

Several community events celebrating local culture and traditions took place recently across the U.S. In Palisade, Colorado, the Palisade Peach Days kicked off with an ice cream social featuring live music, a 'Guns vs Hoses' tug-of-war between police and fire departments, and a street dance, with the fire department winning this year's competition. Meanwhile, in New Windsor, Illinois, the New Windsor Fair and IPRA Rodeo is scheduled for mid-August, offering three days of parades, family events, and rodeo competitions including bull riding and barrel racing, with free admission for children under 12. Dorchester hosted its 3rd Annual Ice Cream Social Rodeo, attracting hundreds of attendees dressed in cowboy attire who enjoyed mechanical bull riding, line dancing led by local dance groups, and food from popular local vendors.
