Wolves Secure €22m Deal for Fluminense Winger Jhon Arias

Wolverhampton Wanderers have finalized a transfer agreement to sign Colombian winger Jhon Arias from Brazilian club Fluminense for approximately €22 million (£19-25.5 million), including add-ons and a 10% sell-on clause. Fluminense will retain 10% of Arias' rights and a preferential clause should he return to Brazil. Arias, 27, has been eager to fulfill his ambition of playing in Europe and has accepted personal terms with Wolves, with a medical scheduled and travel plans underway. He has been a key player for Fluminense, contributing 47 goals and 55 assists in 229 appearances and helping them win the 2023 Copa Libertadores and Recopa Sudamericana. Despite the agreement, Arias played in Fluminense's match against Cruzeiro as a farewell to fans before his move to Molineux. Wolves have made Arias their second major attacking signing this summer, following the acquisition of winger Fer Lopez.
