Third Man Charged with Sittingbourne Murder After Pedestrian Death

Two men, Jack Hunt and Chris McClean, have been charged with murder following the death of a man in his 30s in Sittingbourne town centre. The incident occurred on August 2, 2025, when the pedestrian fell from a wall after being chased and subsequently collided with a car on St Michael's Road near Dover Street. Despite the attendance of paramedics, the man was pronounced dead at the scene. During the investigation, police also seized a quantity of cocaine, and McClean faced an additional charge of possession with intent to supply cocaine. Both suspects were arrested days after the incident and have been remanded in custody, with court appearances scheduled.
