Former Meghalaya Chief Minister Salseng C. Marak Dies

Former Meghalaya Chief Minister Salseng C. Marak passed away at the age of 83 due to age-related ailments at Tura Civil Hospital. Marak, known as 'Mr. Clean' for his integrity and commitment to a corruption-free governance, was the first CM to complete a full five-year term from 1993 to 1998.
