Strasbourg Rejects Third Nottingham Forest €35M Bid for Dilane Bakwa

Nottingham Forest has had its third bid of €35 million for Franco-Congolese winger Dilane Bakwa rejected by RC Strasbourg, who remain firm on their valuation despite the offer comprising a fixed €27.5 million plus €7.5 million in add-ons. Bakwa, a 22-year-old France youth international, has made significant contributions for Strasbourg, with 11 goals and 20 assists in 69 games, and has appeared three times this season off the bench. Strasbourg's manager Liam Rosenior appears to be preparing for Bakwa's departure, although negotiations between the two clubs continue. Nottingham Forest aims to make Bakwa their ninth signing of the summer, showing clear determination to secure the player. Leeds United had also been interested but are now reportedly out of the race. Bakwa began his career at Bordeaux before moving to Strasbourg in 2023, where he helped the team finish seventh in Ligue 1 and qualify for the Conference League.
