Predators Snap Four-Game Skid, Beat Canucks 2-1

Ryan O'Reilly opened the scoring with a short-handed goal, and Cole Smith tipped Justin Barron's shot 5:09 into the third for the winner while Max Sasson scored Vancouver's lone goal. Juuse Saros made 21 saves and preserved the win with a late stop; Thatcher Demko finished with 33 saves for Vancouver. Nashville fired a season-high 35 shots and continues to rely on an effective penalty kill (87%) while its power play has struggled (2-for-24). Vancouver closed a five-game road trip 3-1-0, welcomed Brock Boeser back after a two-game absence, and returns home for three games in four days against Montreal and Edmonton.
