WiseTech Names Zubin Appoo as New CEO

WiseTech Global has named Zubin Appoo as its new CEO after a nine-month search triggered by the October resignation of founder Richard White. White stepped down following an internal review and media reports that he had misled the board and settled personal matters with several women, leading to corporate governance concerns and significant share volatility. In February, White became executive chairman and will collaborate with Appoo on long-term strategy. WiseTech's CEO search included both internal and external candidates before selecting Appoo, who brings extensive company and industry experience. Interim CEO Andrew Cartledge will retire at the end of 2025. The leadership change is intended to restore stability and confidence in the company.
