A 45-year-old man was fatally shot while sitting in his vehicle outside a McDonald's in the Uptown neighborhood of Chicago on Friday afternoon. The incident occurred around 3:45 p.m. when two unidentified individuals approached the victim and one opened fire, striking him. He was rushed to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in critical condition but was later pronounced dead. As of Friday night, no arrests had been made, and the investigation by Area Three detectives is ongoing. The identity of the victim has not yet been released.
