Robbie Gould Named St. Viator Head Coach

Robbie Gould, former Chicago Bears kicker and all-time leading scorer for the team, has been appointed as the new head football coach at St. Viator High School in Arlington Heights. Gould previously coached at Rolling Meadows High School, where he led the team to a 5-5 record and a first-round playoff appearance in the 2024 season. He expressed excitement about joining St. Viator, emphasizing his commitment to creating a supportive and successful team environment. St. Viator's president, Ryan Aiello, praised Gould for understanding the school's mission and possessing the skills necessary to develop student-athletes both on and off the field. Gould's NFL career spanned 18 seasons, including 11 with the Bears, making him one of the top ten scorers in NFL history. His appointment comes as St. Viator aims to build on recent successes, including consecutive playoff appearances.
